Felipe Fleury is a lawyer enrolled with the Brazilian and Portuguese Bar Associations.
He works in the area of tax law, both in advisory and litigation, on issues involving knowledge of Brazilian, Portuguese and international legislation, focused on preventing and resolving judicial and administrative disputes; carrying out estate and inheritance planning; participating in structured transactions (M&A and investments); and providing legal consultancy services involving any and all taxes, for individuals, families and companies.
His professional experience of almost two decades has made him one of Brazil’s most admired lawyers in the area of tax law, in a traditional survey carried out by Editora Análise with the legal departments of the country’s largest companies.
He is currently studying for a PhD in tax law from the University of Lisbon Law School, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo – PUC/SP (2011); a Specialist degree in tax law from the Brazilian Institute of Tax Studies – IBET (2013); and a Master’s degree in state law from PUC/SP (2016). He teaches tax law on the Postgraduate course in tax law at IBET, where he also advises academic papers. He taught tax and administrative law on the Undergraduate course at the Autonomous Law School (FADISP).
